What is Polymorphic Resin?

IET Systems Polymorphic Resin is stronger than any other concrete repair or coating product. It penetrates into the open pores of concrete creating a structural attachment stronger than the concrete matrix itself.  The strength of the concrete becomes the limiting factor in the adhesion. Other features of IET Systems Polymorpic Resin:

  • Can be used in place of cement and water as the binding agent for any aggregate mix used in concrete.
  • This creates a super concrete that can be used for repairs to damaged concrete or the creation of monolithic structures.
  • Returns badly damaged concrete to service in less than 1 hour.
  • Adheres to steel and other metals with a bond strength of 1582 PSI, creating a nearly indestructible coating.
  • Is extremely abrasion, impact and chemical resistant.
  • Is a barrier to molecules as small as PCB's, making it the finest secondary containment coating available.
  • Prevents the intrusion of water, and water borne chlorides, arresting rebar corrosion and the resulting concerte break up.has no. critical time limits between coats.
  • When the previous coat begins to gel (a matter of minutes) the next coat can be applied.  Should a delay occur (there is no limit on how long) the application can resume without any difficulty.
  • Can be applied at surface temperatures ranging from -40°F. to +150°F.  This means a virtual year round material in any climate from Alaska to Arizona.
  • Is the cost competitive answer to your renovation and protection needs.
  • Is a 100% solids modified isothalic polyester material that is stronger than any other concrete repair or coating product.
  • Comprehensive Strength: 15,120 PSI
  • Tensile Strength: 4,900 PSI
  • Flexural Strength: 8,630 PSI
  • Adhesion to Metals: 1,582 PSI
  • Can be used in place of cement and water as the binding agent for any aggregate mix used in concrete, creating a super concrete that can be used to repair damaged concrete or for the creation of new monolithic structures.  Returns badly damaged concrete to service in less than 1 hour.
  • Penetrated into the open pores of prepared concrete, crating a structural attachment stronger than the concrete matrix itself.  The strength of the concrete becomes the limiting factor in adhesion.
  • Adheres to steel and other metals with a bond strength of 1,582 PSI, creating a nearly indestructible coating.
  • Is extremely abrasion resistant.
  • Is extremely impact resistant.
  • Is extremely chemical resistant.
  • Is a complete barrier to molecules as small as PCB's, making it the finest secondary containment coating available.
  • Prevents the intrusion of all water and water-borne chlorides, arresting re-bar corrosion and the resulting concrete break up.
  • Has no critical time limits between coats.  When the previous coat begins to gel (a matter of minutes) the next coat can be applied.  However, there is no time limit after which the next coat cannot be applied.  Work ca proceed as fast or as slow as necessary.
  • Can be applied at surface temperatures ranging from -20°F to +150°F.  This means a virtual year round material in any climate from Alaska to Florida.
  • Is very cost competitive, usually costing less than inferior products on an installed basis.
  • Is the answer to your renovation and protection needs.
